A pocket, silver plated lighter made by the French company S.T. Dupont.  This is from the iconic 'Line 1' collection and is a popular pattern known as the 'Diamond Head' engine turning. Probably the finest name in the world of lighters, this prestigious company recently celebrated its 140th anniversary.  

This is a butane lighter, for which the gas is still available to purchase.  The lighter is in exceptional condition.  Made in France, the piece dates circa 1970's and is complete with the original box and paperwork
