Vintage Speed performance muffler for the Type 4 pancake engine. Fits VW Type 2 bus 1972-1979.
This exhaust has the following features:
- Fully TIG welded
- #304 stainless steel muffler with twin #304 polished tail pipe
- #304 Stainless steel flanges can be match ported
- Built in M18 bung with sealing cap for an O2 sensor
- Will fit under rear apron for a Type 4 engine in a pre-1979 bay window bus
- Specifically engineered for the Type 4 engine from 1700cc to 2400cc
- Includes high-quality gaskets
- Muffler will clear the original tow hook.
